Knesset Saves Mortgage Foreclosure Victims over 20 Million Shekels
The Knesset passes a YEDID initiated bill to abolish early redemption fines on mortgages of repossessed homes. The new law means that people forced to sell their homes will not be punished by further monetary losses.

YEDID prepares giant class action suit on behalf of exploited home healthcare workers
YEDID has requested permission in the Jerusalem Labor Court to file a 588 million shekel class action law suit against 20 home healthcare companies operating throughout the country. The suit demands that these companies pay their employees – especially their female workers – for time spent traveling from one client to the next.

High School Trips to Poland: We won the battle, but the war is not over yet
The Government announced it will subsidize up to 70% of the cost of youth trips to Poland. And the remaining 30%? YEDID and our Ashkelon Citizens Organizing for Change initiated the campaign and now call upon the Minister of Education to adopt a plan to allow students to work in exchange for the rest of the cost of the trip.
